This document describes how Abre and Certified Trainers work together. Participation in the certified trainer program is contingent upon agreement to the terms outlined below. Please read carefully. By gaining your Abre Certified Training, certification you agree to the terms outlined below.
This is a contract between you (the Certified Trainer) and us (Abre).
“Abre Branding Guidelines” means our brand guidelines that are found at https://abre.io/presskit/.
“Agreement” means these Abre Certified Trainer Terms and Conditions and all materials referred or linked to in this document.
“Certified Trainer Resources” means the resources made available to trainers.
“We”, “us”, “our”, and “Abre” means Abre.io
“You” and “Certified Trainer” means you who are entering into this Agreement and participating in the Abre Certified Trainer program
This agreement does not create an exclusive agreement between you or us. Any and all are able to apply for the Certified Trainer Program. Certified Trainer resources may also be made available to Abre customers and others as Abre deems appropriate.
IV. Application and Acceptance.
Applications are available on Abre’s main community website community.abre.io.
Once you’ve completed and submitted an application to participate in the certification program, we will notify if you have been accepted. If you do not receive notification within 60 days of submission, your application is considered to be rejected.
What Acceptance Means
Once accepted, you will gain access to a private area of Abre’s Community Site. This area will become the hub for certified trainer resources.
Upon notification of acceptance, the terms and conditions of this Agreement shall apply in full force and effect until terminated pursuant to the terms set forth below.
Acceptance into the Abre Certified Trainer Program does not guarantee certification. In order to receive certification you must complete all certification criteria per Abre’s standards.
1. Complete all Pre-Requisite Learn Courses
All Abre created Learn courses need to be completed. Evidence must be submitted to Abre that courses are completed.
2. Train the Trainer Materials
Train the trainer materials are materials provided by Abre for any trainer (certified or otherwise) to use for training purposes. You must review all materials. It is the expectation that you use the train the trainer materials in your training presentations.
You may not resell, lease, rent our otherwise charge for Abre created training materials.
You may not remove our name or logo from Abre Training Material Content.
3. Participate in Certified Trainer Forums on Abre’s Community Site
Questions, dialogue, and sharing of ideas will be posted on Abre’s community site. It is expected that all Certified Trainers participate in the Certified Trainer Forum.
4. Abide by Abre Branding Guidelines
Abre Branding Guidelines are found at https://abre.io/presskit/. Any use of Abre logos and styles will abide by such guidelines. Any logo usage not granted in this agreement must be agreed to in writing by Abre.
You may charge fees to your customers for attending training sessions. Abre does not guarantee any minimum attendance or participation at training sessions. Abre is not responsible for facilitating payment between parties.
6. Trainer Rights
We grant you, subject to the limitations set forth in this agreement, a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use, demonstrate and promote the Abre Certified Trainer Program solely in an educational environment, such as a classroom setting, where the main purpose is to benefit the end user.
You will take reasonable steps to ensure that end users using Abre do not participate in ways that would violate the terms of service.
7. Training Notifications
You are obligated to log trainings within the Abre Community Site. A form and calendar is available. Abre may periodically survey and audit trainings delivered by you, the certified trainer.
Abre customers requiring support beyond the scope of the certified trainer will be directed to the normal procedures and means of Abre Customer Support: The knowledge base and the helpdesk ticketing system.
Certified Trainers will subscribe to the Abre newsletter. Certified Trainers will join the Certified Abre Trainer Community Group and subscribe to various forum conversations.
Certified Trainers may, in the course of providing feedback to the Abre team and participating in forums, become privy to company roadmaps and software development. Certified Trainers must direct any questions relating to timing of development items (feature releases, enhancements, bug fixes, etc.) to an Abre employee. Under no circumstances shall a Certified Trainer commit to timing of development items.
10. Maintain Knowledge of the Product
Abre develops rapidly. Certified Trainers are required to maintain knowledge of feature releases and changes.
11. Duration and Validation of Certificate
Certificates remain valid for one year. After a year, recertification is required. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, and terminate your Abre Certified Trainer Certificate at any time. After one year, the Certified Trainer must reapply to participate in the program.
12. Trademarks and Press Release
You grant to us a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty free right to use and display your supplied images, biography information and logo(s) in connection with the Abre Certified Trainer Program.
During the term of this Agreement, you may use the Abre logo provided you abide by the following usage requirements: . You must: (i) only use the logos available in the Abre Press Kit (https://abre.io/presskit/) without altering them in any way; (ii) use our logo only in connection with the Abre Certified Training Program (iii) immediately comply if we request that you discontinue use. You must not: (i) use the logo in a misleading or disparaging way; or (ii) use our logo in violation of applicable law or in connection with an obscene, indecent, or unlawful topic or material.
VI. No Fees
No fees, commissions or other payments will be due or payable by Abre to the Certified Trainer under this agreement.
We encourage community support via our community website and within the Abre Certified Trainer Group and Forum. Abre customers, including Abre Certified Trainers, have access to standard levels of support as defined by customer SOW and SLA.
VIII. Property Rights
As a result of working with the Abre Platform and with Abre users, a Certified Trainer will gain insight into enhancements, features and possible new applications for the Platform. All product ideas and suggestions and results of such ideas and suggestions (work) are the sole and exclusive property of Abre. Certified Trainer acknowledges and agrees that the work product (and all rights therein, including, without limitation, copyrights) belongs to and shall be the sole and exclusive property of Abre.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Certified Trainer also hereby assigns and transfers to Abre, its successors and assigns, the entire right, title, and interest in and to all copyrights in the work, all registrations and copyright applications relating thereto and all renewals and extensions thereof; all works based upon, derived from, or incorporating the Work; all income, royalties, damages, claims and payments now or hereafter due or payable with respect thereto; all causes of action, either in law or in equity for past, present, or future infringement based on the copyrights; and all rights corresponding to the foregoing throughout the world.
